Are you a mum wanting to tone up, lose weight and get fit but struggling to find the time to do so? “Mums the Word”, this unique 45min class, is specifically designed for mums who don’t have the time to spend hours at the gym but still want a complete body workout. The session is designed to work on all those common problem areas, and we will personalize your workouts to suit your needs. We will use a combination of boxercise, body weight drills, core exercises and other strength & conditioning components to work you from head to toe and give you the yummy mummy figure that you thought you could never have.
MMA CONDITIONING:
Submit yourself to the MMA craze and mix it with the best by training like the pros, as this session will provide you with the conditioning and fitness you have never experienced before. The session will consist of various MMA specific drills designed to give you a full body run down that will not only test your physical toughness but also challenge you mentally as well. This class can be structured for all levels of fitness so don’t let the name fool you come try it out.
GROUP CROSS TRAINING:
Don’t want to train alone, then bring a friend and come get involved in our cross training group sessions. This session is designed to work you in all areas of fitness combining cardio, power training, strength training and conventional weight training in order to give you a head to toe workout. This session is for anyone wanting to loose weight, build their cardio, tone up or all of the above.
BOOTCAMP:
If hardcore fitness and weight loss is what your after then this is the session for you. This Old school Military style of training has once again caught hold as one of the most popular and most effective ways to train and so it should. Using Kettle Bells, Boxing and other body resistance exercises it’s hard not to break a sweat. Our Bootcamps range for people that are just starting out to people competing in sports. Our strength and conditioning sessions are based on building muscular endurance, body power and of-course strength. In these sessions we will do dynamic exercises using Kettle Bells, Olympic bar drills, conventional weight resistance drills and various body weight exercises. One of the major attributes of participating in S&C is that it helps strengthen joints and assists in rehabilitation. Do this session and you’ll be looking like a Spartan in no time.
CORE DETENTION:
This 45min ab session also known as the The Fitness Shed”Iron Belt” session, focuses on all the major muscles of the core which include your upper and lower abdominals, external obliques, intercostals and lower back. The idea of the session is to work all the aspects relevant to stability and function of the core. Some of these include strength, muscular endurance, power and flexibility. If hard chiseled abs is your goal you’d be insane not to try this one out.
